DocsSetting up your wallet

Setting up your wallet

Skiro doesn't custody funds. Every successful payment goes directly to a wallet address you control. Here's how to set yours up.

Choose a payout currency

Pick whichever fits your workflow:

CurrencyNetworkTypical confirmationFees
USDTTRC-20 (Tron) or ERC-20 (Ethereum)~30 seconds on TronLowest on Tron
USDCTRC-20 (Tron) or ERC-20 (Ethereum)~30 seconds on TronLowest on Tron
BTCBitcoin10-30 minutesVariable
LTCLitecoin~2-5 minutesVery low
ETHEthereum~1 minuteHigher
SOLSolanaSecondsVery low
USDT-TRC20 recommended
For most merchants, USDT on Tron is the best balance of speed, low fees, and stable value. Switch later if your needs change.

Configure your wallet

Open Settings → Payouts in your dashboard. Pick the currency, paste your wallet address, and save.

Where to get a wallet address:

  • Self-custody wallet (Trust Wallet, MetaMask, Phantom): you hold the keys. Most secure, recommended for serious volume.
  • Exchange wallet (Binance, Coinbase, Kraken): easier to convert to fiat. Make sure deposits aren't restricted for the chain you picked.
  • Hardware wallet (Ledger, Trezor): for large balances. Pair with a hot wallet for everyday operations.

Verify the address

Before going live, verify your wallet works:

  1. Process a small live transaction (~$5).
  2. Check your wallet for the deposit. It should arrive within a few minutes.
  3. Confirm the amount matches what you expect (gross minus fee).
Verify the chain
USDT on TRC-20 is not the same as USDT on ERC-20 or BEP-20. If you give us an Ethereum-format address while we're sending TRC-20 USDT, the funds are gone. Always confirm the chain matches.

Changing your wallet

You can change your payout address at any time. The new address takes effect for the next transaction. Already-processing payouts continue to the previous address.

For security:

  • 2FA confirmation is required to change the wallet address.
  • You'll receive an email notification 24 hours before the new address goes into effect.
  • You can cancel the change during the 24-hour window.
